About the course

Together We Rise is a student response to the growing polarization and intergroup mistrust in society. Founded on lived experiences and driven by the belief that authentic storytelling can bridge divides, this program equips volunteers to lead empathy-driven workshops that spotlight everyday inter community solidarity.  This e-learning course certifies volunteers to deliver the "Together We Rise" workshop—a one hour interactive classroom experience that helps children reflect on acts of interfaith unity, challenge stereotypes, and contribute ideas for harmony in their own communities. Volunteers will receive ready-to-use tools, training resources, and real-world examples that ground abstract ideals in tangible action.

Zara Bharadwaj is a passionate student committed to fostering empathy, inclusion, and intercommunity understanding. With a strong interest in social cohesion and youth engagement, Zara actively supports initiatives like Together We Rise that empower young people to challenge stereotypes and build bridges across divides. Her dedication to creating safe, reflective spaces for dialogue and storytelling drives her involvement in promoting unity and everyday acts of solidarity.
